St. Patrick's School Guitar Ensemble (SPSGE) will celebrate its 10th year with a concert performance at the Esplanade Recital Studio. In 2015, the ensemble held their inaugural concert 'Sunrise I: First light', combining force with Catholic Junior College's Guitar Ensemble. In 2017, SPSGE decided to strike it out on their own with 'Sunrise II: Celebration'.
Established in 2007, the ensemble has grown in strength, confidence and achievement. They have attained two Certificates of Distinction in 2013 and 2015 Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation. Since then, the ensemble has the honour to perform for a few events with ministers gracing the ocassion.
This concert 'Sunrise II: Celebration' will also featured niibori guitar instruments of different sizes and pitches to bring about a more dynamic and diverse range of sound for their audience. So join them in this special celebration, with an evening of catchy and nostalgic tunes!
The performance will help to raise funds for the ensemble to acquire new instruments, conduct more performances and other activities.
