The classic Grasshopper is back to woo Singapore audience with their brand new concert, “Grasshopper Music Walker Concert” on 22 July 2017 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Consisting of Edmond So (蘇志威), brothers Remus Choy (蔡一杰) and Calvin Choy (蔡一智), Grasshopper released their self-titled Cantonese album in 1988. Their catchy songs and slick dance moves soon made the group a household name in Hong Kong. In 1990, Grasshopper ventured into Taiwan with their debut Mandarin album, “Xian Shi Zhuan Song” (限时专送) . Many of their Mandarin songs such as “Lonely”, “Xian Shi Zhuan Song ABC” (限时专送 ABC), “Wang Qing Sen Ba Wu” (忘情森巴舞) and “Baby I’m Sorry” (宝贝对不起) were instant hits. Their immense talent along with a keen learning attitude is what makes Grasshopper the classic band they are today.
Celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2016, Grasshopper released a Mandarin album “Music Walker”. It featured a collaboration with Jay Chou, an upbeat track titled “Superb” (超猛). They also kick-started their brand new world tour, “Grasshopper Music Walker Concert”. The upcoming Singapore show will see the energetic trio keeping fans on their feet all night long with their nifty footwork, charming showmanship and well-loved dance tracks. Fans can also expect elaborate costumes and a dazzling stage set-up.
香港乐坛最长寿的组合，草蜢将于7月22日重返新加坡室内体育馆举办 “草蜢 MUSIC WALKER 演唱会” 。
由蔡一智，蔡一杰和苏志威三人组成的草蜢在1988年推出了首张同名粤语专辑。他们唱跳俱佳，以独特的音乐表达方式在当时的香港流行乐坛独树一帜，广受欢迎，并迅速走红乐坛。 1990 年草蜢正式进军台湾发展事业， 推出了首张华语专辑 “限时专送”。出道至今草蜢已推出30多张专辑，代表作有『飞跃千个梦』、『宝贝，对不起 』、『失恋阵线联盟』、『半点心』、『LONELY』、『忘情森巴舞』等。
为了欢庆出道30年，草蜢在2016年推出华语专辑 “音悦行者”，并找来周杰伦操刀，为他们创作快歌『超猛』。他们也在同年展开了全新的巡演，“草蜢 MUSIC WALKER 演唱会” 。新加坡站不只是草蜢继2014年后再次回到新加坡开唱，更是他们时隔7年再次搭上新加坡室内体育馆的舞台。无论是舞蹈、歌曲、舞台或服装，统统都是他们精心策划，保证让前来看演唱会的歌迷们仿佛置身在一场超high的派对。
