Born Jillian Rose Banks, the California native BANKS captured the attention of fans worldwide with her dark, compelling blend of smoky, seductive vocals, soul-baring lyricism and lush production. Shadowing the release of her debut album Goddess, BANKS was nominated for the BBC Sound of 2014 award and also made the MTV Brand New for 2014 shortlist. BANKS cut her teeth on the touring circuit as a support act for R&B sensation The Weeknd. Working hand in hand with producers such as Tim Anderson and Sohn, her sophomore record The Altar (2016) reveals BANKS at her most raw, honest and brave, with singles like 'Gemini Feed' and 'Trainwreck'.
