World-class guitar icon Carlos Santana will be heading to Singapore for an one-night only concert as part of Santana Transmogrify Tour 2017 on 4th April 2017, 8PM at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. This comeback after his last sell-out show in 2013 sets Singapore as one of his few Asia stops in the lineup of his latest world tour, which will continue on to Australia, New Zealand and Japan for the rest of April.
The multi-Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Carlos Santana, along with his band SANTANA, will be performing passion filled songs from his forty years of career including familiar favourites from Woodstock to Supernatural and beyond. The guitar legend is set to delight fans in Singapore and across the globe with the Santana Transmogrify Tour 2017. With his music being revered as one of the world’s best-known musical signatures, Carlos Santana has been the visionary force behind artistry that surpasses musical genres and tears up generational, cultural and geographical boundaries. Santana’s ever-evolving sound was always ahead of its time in its universal appeal, and today registers as ideally in sync with the 21st century’s pan-cultural landscape. Santana’s latest release entitled, “Santana IV”, debuted at #5 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart and marked the fourteenth Top 10 album for the band.
As part of Santana’s dedication to humanitarian outreach and social activism that parallels his lifelong relationship with music, one US dollar from every concert ticket sold will be donated to The Milagro Foundation. Milagro was founded by Santana and his family in 1998 to support underrepresented and disadvantaged youth in arts, education and health.
